Milton District Hospital
Kim Hunter is very pleased to have recently been selected to sit on the Milton District Hospital Foundation Board. His past experience on hospital, hospice and nursing home boards will benefit him in this new venture, and he looks forward to working with the great team that makes up this board. Congratulations Kim on having been selected!
For a Rotarian, the highest of honours is to be made a Paul Harris Fellow. Paul Harris was the founder of Rotary, and awards in his name are given to Rotarians, and non-Rotarians, who in the opinion of their peers have exemplified the Rotary motto of "Service above Self". In June of this year Rebecca Hunter was honoured to recieve this award from her former club in the city of Scarborough. Rebecca has recently transferred her membership to the Rotary Club of Milton and looks forward to actively participating in all of the really wonderful events that this club participates in! Thank you to the Milton Rotarians for making Rebecca feel so welcome - and to the Scarborough Rotarians for such a nice send off!

THE ROTARY CLUB OF MILTON
Recognizing the good work done by service clubs in Milton, we try to help out when we are able. This year we were able to sponsor a segment and donate some items for the Rotary Club of Milton's TV Auction, which is one of their primary fundraisers. We have heard that this year's auction was a huge success, in part due to their "on-line" previews and bidding opportunities! Way to Go!!
MILTON'S CHOICE AWARD
Once again, J. Scott Early Funeral Home was the recipient of the First Place Award in the Category of Favourite Funeral Director for 2005, as awarded by the Milton Canadian Champion. We have been awarded this honour every year since 1999. Thank you Milton for your continued confidence in the J. Scott Early Funeral Home!
