Below is a list of questions and responses that we commonly receive at the funeral home. We will continue to include any new questions in this section that we feel would be helpful to others.

If you have a question that has not been covered in this site we would like to hear from you. You may use the "Ask the Director" section of our site to forward your question or comments to us.

If you would prefer to call us on the telephone, our staff would be pleased to provide an answer to any funeral related matter you may have. If we do not have the answer immediately, we will find it for you and contact you the minute the information is in our hands.

2. What kinds of questions will the funeral director ask me?
 

Question #1Does it cost anything to pre-arrange?
Answer:Coming in to see one of us, and discuss your funeral plans costs absolutely  nothing.  We will sit down with you and go over the various options available, and record your own personal wishes as well as some of your vital statistic information to make things easier for your family in the future.  You can be as specific or as vague as you wish in your instructions.  And you can change or update these arrangements at any time.  A permanent file will be maintained in our office for you.

Question #2What kinds of questions will the funeral director ask me?
Answer:You will be asked about your funeral preferences.... for instance burial vs. cremation; open or closed casket; cemetery choices; musical selections etc.  More importantly, you will be asked to provide some background information about yourself (or the person for whom you are making prearrangements).  Things like full legal name; date and place of birth; social insurance number (if available), occupation; marital status; spouses maiden name if applicable; the names of your parents, including mother's maiden name and the place that they were born; current address and the names and contact information for your next of kin, executor or estate trustee.
